The technology

Every pixel has a job.

Pixel pitch decides how close someone can stand. Brightness decides whether the screen survives noon. Refresh rate decides whether a camera can film it. Getting these right is the difference between a display that works and one that merely switches on.

1. Pixel pitch

   P1.5 to P10

   The gap between LEDs, in millimetres, sets the closest comfortable viewing distance. Solurist has installed P2.5 standees people stand beside in a mall and P10 billboards read from across a carriageway.

2. Brightness

   500 – 7,500 cd/m²

   An indoor screen at 500 cd/m² would disappear in daylight. Outdoor P5 panels run at 6,500 cd/m² so content stays readable in direct Karachi sun.

3. Refresh rate

   1920 – 3840 Hz

   The eye stops noticing flicker long before a camera does. Higher refresh rates keep the screen clean on video, which matters when the installation appears in broadcasts or on social media.

4. Endurance & viewing angle

   Up to 100,000 hours

   Rated lifespan across the panels Solurist supplies, with viewing angles from 140° horizontal outdoors to 160° indoors — so the picture holds for people approaching from the side, not only head on.
